There are three regular social events in the Buffalo calendar:

1. The Buffalo Buffet - this is now aimed at the younger members of the Boat Club and their parents. It usually occurs in early March, on a Saturday that coincides with an informal afternoon of races on the Stour. Those involved receive special mailing in late January - early February.

In 2006 this will be on March 4th - we sent letters to the parents of members of the Boat Club in D and C in early February, but regret that some of them necer arrived!

2. The Buffalo Dinner at Leander Club, Henley on Thames - this is open to the boys' and girls' senior squads, all Boat Club coaches and parents, all subscribing Buffaloes, and invited guests. It is generally also a reunion for crews of 10, 20, 30, 40, ... 70 years before (see Bulletin for current information). The date for this year is May 6th (2006). Details and booking forms are included with the Spring Bulletin, mailed in April.

3. Henley Royal Regatta - Alan Shrimpton, Buffalo Founder and Secretary, welcomes OBs and parents for picnics at his car (L3 in Lion Meadow).
