The Buffalo Secretary, Alan Shrimpton, aims to:

1. Send letters to parents of Boat Club members in Jan/Feb and May to let them know the likely racing programme for their children. This is backed up by:

Times of first races and any last minute changes being available on the school switchboard from about 36 hours before each event.

2. Contact parents of crew members when we have an entry for Henley Royal Regatta so that parents can obtain Enclosure badges, car park labels, etc.

3. Take video at some of the key events.

4. Bring the barbecue to key events, e.g. Schools' Head of the River.

Barbecues are often backed up by willing parents bringing extra delicacies. From the school, we can rarely bring more than burgers and baps + tomato sauce.

Those wishing to make sure if there will be a barbecue or not should contact Alan direct.

At the National Schools' Regatta (Spring Bank Holiday weekend), we have both barbecue and Mini-Marquee.
