Academic PE

Bryanston currently offers students the chance to study Sport and PE to A level. We do not run a course at GCSE but students who have a reasonable grade at GCSE science are at an advantage.

Usual class sizes are approximately 10 students per group in both A3 and A2, with a usual scenario of 2 groups in A3 and 1 in A2.

In A3 there are 6 classes and 6 assignments per week.

In A2 there are 7 classes and 7 assignments per week.

In addition, all students have 2 correction periods per week.

Click here to see a copy of the current specification downloaded from the AQA website with more detailed information about the course and its requirements.

For information about other courses visit the AQA website.

From September 2008, the new OCR A level Physical Education course will be delivered. For information about the structure of this new A level visit the OCR website.
